Fall kitchen

Here in the mountains of rural Pennsylvania, the mornings are getting chilly, which reminds me that fall is just around the corner. And that means fall decorating!

Earlier this week, I took a break from the office re-do and spent a day outfitting my kitchen for fall. I spent under $30 total adding what I needed to make the space autumn-worthy.

I had a lot of stuff already on hand from past years. I just needed to pick up a few things. I did all my shopping at Walmart. I bought two candles to complete my island ensemble. Total cost = $10.

My favorite purchases this year were these plates. They were each under $3! And the pumpkin on the left was under $5.

The most expensive thing I bought was this rug. It was $7.99

I picked up a few fresh hand towels this year.

And the rest of the items I used to decorate I already had from past years.

Most of these items were either given to me as gifts or purchased on clearance. You know me; I don’t like to pay full price for anything.

This year, I re-hung my one-hour napkin curtains.

This is my favorite fall decorating purchase ever. I love this sign.

I kept the kitchen tablescape pretty simple.

I added some fall beverage choices in the coffee bar area.

And that’s pretty much it. Now I have a kitchen fit for fall …
