Christmas tree, mantel decorations and more
This holiday season, I wanted to decorate my living room to reflect our lakeside living style and keep things complimentary with the space’s everyday color palette.
I used wooden and neutral-colored ornaments in rich browns, golds and whites and then I added in textured elements like an evergreen wreath, burlap garland and a dark brown fur throw to give the room a warm, outdoorsy feel.
On the tree, you’ll see I kept things pretty matchy, matchy this year, but I still love the way it turned out.
On the mantel, I brought out my extra large ornaments, bought on clearance at TJ Maxx last year. (I typically buy all my Christmas decs and ornaments on deep clearance after the holidays.) I draped gold tulle around everything to give the mantel a bit of angelic flair.
On the other side of the room, I decked out my free, roadside chair.
So what colors have you used in your holiday decorating this year?
This is absolutely beautiful! So inviting and warm!
Thanks, Robin. I hope you had a wonderful Christmas and enjoyed the snow!
