Fall front porch

As promised, today I’m showing you what I did with some of the pumpkins I got from Bilger’s.

I decided to paint one of them.

And I used Mod Podge to attach scrapbook paper to another one.

The Mod Podge idea was a total project fail. My pumpkin ended up looking more like, well, a kid’s science fair project. But after spending over an hour sniffing glue and sticking on overpriced bits of paper, that pumpkin was going to be displayed on the front porch, gosh darn it.

So here is my finished vignette. (Maybe a squirrel will come by and nibble all the scrapbook paper off that middle pumpkin. One can hope. 🙂

Have you experienced any craft project “fails” recently? I’d love for you to share.

I had a big FAIL when I filled a glass vase with some acorns I found outside. They must have had eggs in them because 3 days later there were a bunch of little fuzzy white wormy looking things crawling around. Yikes!
