Beware: I’m attempting to be fashionable
Let’s be honest … the typical UOD (uniform of the day) for this DIY diva is yoga pants and a clean shirt that, hopefully, is free of spit-up stains. But today, I thought it would be fun to join my friends Tonya and Mandy for their “Pin it & wear it” party.
I met Tonya and Mandy last year at Blissdom. They are super sweet, funny and always fashionable.
The pin I chose for the party is this one, originally from Fashionista by Aimee King:
I felt fairly confident I already had in my closet everything I needed to complete the look. Here’s my version of Aimee’s outfit:
- Jacket – Target
- Blue sweater – Charlotte Russe
- Button-down shirt – Land’s End
- Belt – Rue 21
- Jeans – JCPenney
- Handbag – Nine West
- Suede boots – Gabriel Brothers
What do you think of my attempt to be fashionable? Tomorrow, I’ll be back in yoga pants shooting some photos of our totally finished master closet. I’ll be posting all the deets on that project (did we succeed in keeping it under $200?) later this week.
I’m linking this up to Love of Family & Home and The Pleated Poppy.
