Gender reveal post

In case you missed the spoiler alert in my post about Haven, we are going to have a baby in November! Yep, I’m almost six months preggers.

We found out the gender of the baby a few weeks ago. I’ll give you a hint:

Yep. You’ve got it. We are having a little boy!!!

Tiny originally said if it’s a boy, she will throw him in the garbage. But, thankfully, she changed her mind. Now she’s telling us she secretly did want a brother so she could dress him up as a cowboy. Whew.

While I was praying for a healthy baby and pregnancy, I remember saying to God, “I already have a little girl (and all the stuff that comes with one). I come from a family of all girls. Another girl would be a fairly easy adjustment for me. What do you think, God?”

Well, praise Him, he doesn’t leave us where we are in our comfort zones, amen? He is always stretching and growing us (both figuratively and, in this case, literally). I have no idea what to do with a little boy. But we’ll figure it out. In the meantime, I would greatly appreciate your prayers for a safe delivery and healthy baby. Thanks!
