Martha Stewart dining room for less
Here is the mountains of Pennsylvania, there’s a chill in the air and the pumpkin gathering is in full swing.
I made my annual trip to Bilger’s Pumpkins last weekend to pick up my decorating stash. In my opinion, Bilger’s has the best selection of pumpkins and gourds around at the best prices. They are located along Ferguson Valley Road near McVeytown, Pa., so if you’re local, be sure to pay them a visit.
For my fall dining room tablescape this year, I decided to go with an all-white theme. I got my inspiration from this dining room featured on Martha Stewart’s website:
My thrifty version of this spread cost me absolutely nothing, because Bilger’s was sweet enough to donate a bunch of pumpkins and gourds for me to use.
The table runner is part of a thrift store curtain set I purchased a few years back for $1. I folded the curtain in thirds and heavily starched and ironed it to make it lay flat on the table. I already had the candles and all the dinnerware. The napkin rings were a 50-cent yard sale find.
I found the silk floral sprigs among the rest of my faux flowers in the basement.
I love the simplicity and unexpectedness of this fall vignette.
Would you ever decorate for fall in all white? Stay tuned next week for some more unique pumpkin decorating ideas. (Spoiler alert: Mod Podge and paint will be involved.)

Was your inspiration for this design from Tiffany D?
Nope. Got this idea straight from Martha’s website.
