Holiday tablescape

Season’s greetings y’all! Today, I want to give you a sneak peak into my dining room. I’ve got the table all decked out in holiday style. This tablescape was really quite easy to put together. I started with a table runner from Target and a beautiful centerpiece from Kohl’s (on sale, of course). Because we live in the woods near a lake, I always find that natural elements seem to look best in my home. They really mesh with the character and style of the place. I bought the gold chargers on clearance after the holidays last year. I think they were $4 for a set of four. I already had a few lying around the house from years ago, so I had no problem setting up service for six. My mother-in-law gave me the berry-colored plates a few years ago. She has great taste! The stainless steel flatware (which I lurve, by the way) is a set we purchased on clearance from Boscov’s. It’s Reed & Barton Berkshire Matte. The napkins were purchased on clearance last year (after Christmas) at Kohl’s. The wine glasses were also given to me by my mother-in-law. I’m still working on making the dining room buffet look festive. There you have it … a tablescape ready for family and friends. Now, on to the 50 meellion other things I need to do to prepare for the holidays.

Ciao for now!
