I finally decorated my mantel for fall
I finally got up enough gumption yesterday to decorate my living room for fall. These days, it seems I am moving slower and slower. We only have five weeks until we meet our new little man (hopefully)!
This year, I dug deep into my fall decorating stash and just used what I had on hand to decorate the mantel.
Yep, that tobacco basket is starting to become a year-round fixture. I still love it!
I used my clearance fall garland and added some burlap to give the mantel a rustic feel. I also clipped on a few black birds (purchased at Michael’s last year) for a whimsical touch.
A few more small accessories completed the look.
I’m linking this up to Women Living Well and Home Stories A to Z.
Beautiful! Love the simplicity, very elegant.
Love the way you make such a nice statement without all the fuss! Exciting your lil’ Super Hero is so close to making his entrance. Rest and enjoy this time you have to prepare your home and your heart for this precious blessing!
Looks good. I love the tobacco basket- I have one that I haven’t used for years – now I’m thinking about pulling it out. I always love using things I have on hand – I surprise myself with the things I create sometimes – & it just takes moving a few things around. Thanks for sharing. 🙂
